• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide the Service: Process your messages, generate images, manage your characters and account.
• Billing: Track credit usage, process payments, and manage subscriptions.
• Improve quality: Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service, fix bugs, and develop new features. We do not use your private chat content to train AI models.
• Security: Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate WaifuGen.ai:

• RunPod - AI model hosting and image generation processing. Prompts and generated outputs are processed on RunPod infrastructure.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union.
• All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL).
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
• No system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained as long as your account exists.
• When you delete your account, your chat history, generated images, characters, and personal data are permanently deleted.
• Billing records may be retained as required by law (typically for tax and accounting purposes).
• Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use minimal browser storage:

• Authentication token: A JWT token stored in localStorage to keep you signed in.
• Age verification: A flag to remember that you have confirmed you are 18+.

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored by the Service.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Export your data (chat history, generated images, character data).

8. NSFW Content Disclaimer

WaifuGen.ai hosts adult content (18+). All images and characters on the platform are AI-generated and entirely fictional. No real people are depicted. The platform is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and older.

WaifuGen.ai is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete all associated data.
