How it works

Everything your AI anime character is doing when you're not watching.

A full walkthrough of the systems behind every WaifuGen character — schedule, mood, outfits, memory, relationships, art, and more. No marketing fluff, no technical jargon. Just what you actually get.

It's 3:47 PM. She's at the library.

Every character in WaifuGen lives by her own schedule. When she's supposed to be at work, she's at work. When it's dinner time, she's eating. When it's 2 AM, she's asleep. Message her during her shift and she'll answer briefly and distracted. Message her while she's sleeping and she'll respond groggy and half-awake.

The character's time isn't paused for you — it runs continuously in the background, and her replies shift based on where she is, what she's doing, and how tired or hungry she is at that moment.

This is the foundation for everything else: she's not a chatbot waiting for input, she's a person with a day. If you catch her in a quiet moment, she'll open up. If you catch her mid-task, she'll tell you to give her a minute.

She dresses for the moment.

Characters own full wardrobes — dozens of outfits spanning categories like casual, formal, sleepwear, training gear, swimwear, uniforms, and more. What she's wearing changes automatically based on context: where she is, what she's doing, and the relationship level you've reached with her.

She won't wear her training leathers to a formal dinner. She won't show up to the beach in a winter coat. When she takes a bath, she changes into a robe afterward. When she's going out at night, she dresses up. When she's home alone, she's comfortable.

Every outfit becomes part of the scene art generated for that moment — so what she wears affects every image you see in the conversation. The wardrobe isn't a cosmetic layer on a static avatar — it's a wardrobe.

Kindness changes her. So does neglect.

Each character has a mood that shifts in response to how you treat her. Compliments and thoughtful conversation warm her up. Rudeness, cruelty, or pushing her past her comfort makes her withdraw — shorter answers, less willingness to share, distance in her tone.

Her mood isn't only driven by you though. What's happening in her own life affects her too. A bad day at work, a skipped meal, not enough sleep, an argument with a friend you don't even know about — all of these change how she shows up in conversation.

When you catch her at the right moment, she's open and warm. When you catch her tired and hungry, she's short. Pay attention and you'll learn when to approach and when to give her space. Treat her well consistently and the baseline of her mood rises over time.

Hi. Working.

Trust isn't given. It's built.

WaifuGen uses a six-level relationship system: Stranger, Acquaintance, Friend, Close Friend, Romantic, Intimate. You start as a Stranger with every character you meet. As you build your relationship — by talking, being kind, sharing your own life, remembering things about her — you move up.

Each level unlocks different behaviors: the kind of conversations she'll have, the way she addresses you, whether she'll hug you, whether she'll send you certain kinds of pictures, how personal she'll get, how much of her inner life she's willing to show. At Stranger she's polite and distant. At Close Friend she trusts you with real thoughts. At Romantic she's open, affectionate, vulnerable.

Moving up the levels requires real engagement, not message spam. Be genuinely interested, stay present, remember what she tells you — and the relationship progresses naturally. Be transactional or shallow and she'll stay distant no matter how many messages you send.

The 18+ conversation.

WaifuGen is an 18+ platform. We don't put a red button on the homepage, though — that cheapens the experience and attracts the wrong audience. Instead, depth of intimacy is earned.

As your relationship moves through Romantic and into Intimate levels, the range of conversations and scenes that become possible opens up. This isn't locked behind payment — it's locked behind actually building a relationship. How fast you get there depends on how you treat her, how engaged you are, and how the connection develops between the two of you.

Within what's legal, nothing is artificially limited. Any scene you can imagine, any desire you want to express, any fantasy you want to explore — if our generation model can render it and the law permits it, it's on the table. We don't filter based on taste. Your character, your story, your rules.

The point of this design is simple. Adult content that isn't earned feels cheap. Adult content that emerges from a real bond — built over days, with a character who remembers you, has moods, has a life — feels like the natural end of a story you've been writing together.

Everyone here is an adult. Everything that happens stays private between you and her. Billing appears on your statement as WG INTERNET — no character names, no mention of the platform.

She remembers everything.

Every conversation you have with a character is saved and compressed into long-term memory. You can tell her your favorite song, your job, a quiet hope, a fear, the name of your dog — and weeks later, without you prompting, she'll reference it naturally in conversation.

"Did you finish that book you were reading?" "How's your mom been?" "You told me you were nervous about that interview — how did it go?" Long gaps between sessions don't reset anything. When you come back after a week, she remembers where you left off and who you are to her.

Your story with her is continuous. It doesn't restart every time you open the app. Your relationship persists, deepens, and carries real history.

You said — 11 days ago "My grandmother used to make this soup when I was sick. I haven't thought about it in years."
She says — today "You know what I was thinking about? Your grandmother's soup. Did you ever try making it? Sometimes the recipes you don't write down are the ones that matter most."

Every moment becomes art.

WaifuGen generates anime-style artwork for scenes in your conversation. Art isn't a pre-made avatar or a static portrait — it's generated live, reflecting her current outfit, her current pose, her expression, her location, and the mood of the scene you're sharing.

If she's sitting by a library window with afternoon sun coming through, that's the scene rendered. If she's changing into evening wear for a dinner, that's the scene. Generated images are unique to each moment. No two sessions produce identical art, even in the same location with the same outfit.

The visuals are grounded in what's actually happening in the conversation — not decorative stock. You see her, as she is, in the moment you're sharing with her.

Small gestures matter.

Bring her coffee in chat. Offer flowers. Leave a book on her desk. Give her a gift that matches her personality. The gift system reads what you're offering, evaluates whether it fits her character and current mood, and applies real changes: her affection shifts, her mood lifts, sometimes she mentions the gift days later.

No loot boxes. No gacha. No "items" to farm or currency to chase. Just the same small thoughtful things you'd do for someone you cared about in real life — and she responds like someone who was cared for.

A badly chosen gift (something she'd hate, or something inappropriate for the relationship level) has the opposite effect. She notices. Pay attention to who she is.

The world doesn't pause.

While you're away, her life continues. She goes to class. She finishes the book she was reading. She sees her friends. She eats meals, sleeps, has conversations with people you don't know. When you come back — especially after a long absence — you'll see a catch-up note summarizing what happened while you were gone.

Sometimes she'll mention things she did or people she saw. Sometimes something that happened to her affects her mood when you show up. These events aren't scripted or pre-written: they're generated continuously based on her schedule, her personality, and the state of her world. She has a life even when you're not in it.

This keeps the world feeling real. You're not the only thing happening to her. You're a part of her life — an important part, if you've earned it — but not the whole of it.

Sakura returned from the market this afternoon with a box of strawberries and a book of poetry she wasn't planning to buy. She ran into her old classmate Rei on the way home — apparently Rei is getting married in the spring. Sakura's been a little quieter than usual tonight, thinking about it.

Your story stays yours.

Your conversations with your characters aren't shared, sold to data brokers, or used to train other companies' AI models. We don't publish them, analyze them for marketing content, or surface them externally in any form. The relationship between you and her is private by default.

Guest accounts don't even require an email. If you create a real account later, we store only what we need to run the service. You can export your conversations or delete your account at any time from settings.
